Experience:
Over thirty years of experience with the old "Ma Bell", the "Baby Bells" and their derivatives, including AT&T, Northwestern Bell, Lucent Technologies and Avaya. Also worked with business partners NACR and Dataline Services Inc. as a Project and Contract Manager.
Touchstones of our Principal's Experience:
- Support up to 32 National Account Managers including: Bids, Scheduling for Jobs, Project Management, and Billing. Products included- New Partner, Legend Magix, and IP Office installs and aftermarket for the larger systems, Wiring, and Paging. Also in charge of Contracting for the Central and North East Regions.
- Design of Structured Cabling and Paging Systems- Ordering of material and Project Managing of those projects. Also assisted Technicians on installation and repair of Telecom Systems and Overhead Paging.
- Manage 14-person large business PBX Installation & Repair Crew for Metro Milwaukee and Octel/Ameritech voice mail system statewide. Provide all bids for PBX moves & wiring. Subject matter expert for paging problem resolutions statewide.
- Pre-Survey including Customer Contacts, Space & Environmental, Materials and Personnel Resources for Moves of PBX and Voice Mail Systems; Design & Bid; Parts Procurement; Supervise Cutovers, Help Desk & final walk-through and billing review with Customers. Full P/L responsibility;
- Customer Service & Sales; Pre-Survey thru Design, Bid and Sale of Wiring Installations and Paging Systems. Parts procurement, hire and supervise contractors. Full P/L responsibility. 438% revenue increase, from $800k to $3.5mil. 100% customer satisfaction.
 - Supervision of 14 person Installation and Repair Crew plus local, midwest and national contractors. Pre-surveys, bids, wire and paging designs for small and mid-sized phone systems (up to 200 stations). Nearly doubled crew's billable time - from upper 30% to over 60%. Took crew from worst productivity in three state area to FIRST in six state area. Numbers comparable to best in nation. Attended National Achievers Club two years in a row for outstanding results. AT&T spun
off Lucent.
- Provisioning of 1E Switch Circuits for Private Line Switching, including Federal Telephone Services, Government Services Administration, Texan (State of Texas), General Motors, EDS, PPG, Xerox and many others. Transferred to Digital Access Communications Conversion Crew where duties included inventory, testing, cutover of analog carrier systems to digital DACs. Devised methods and procedures that increased productivity by over 400%. Helped cut over one carrier system six months early at an AT&T cost savings of $500,000. Promoted from labor ranks to management.
- Repair of PBXs; Installation of Data Circuits, Teletypes, Mobile Telephones, and FM/Business-band Radio. Acquired FCC Radio License. Transferred from ATTIS to AT&T Communications after divestiture. Transfer required passing skills exams in the top 10% of 700-plus candidates.
- Combination Man Installation and Repair of Residential Services. Rural Farm Line Maintenance (climbing poles). Aerial to underground conversion in several regions of North Dakota. Promoted and transferred to Central Office Technician because of electronics expertise.
